Christmas in our hearts

During our live show this morning, we had a little confusion as to how many reindeers does Santa Claus have. It hit me. I forgot my christmas facts. I don't even remeber the names except rodulph whose name is always mentioned in a christmas song.

"Santa has eight reindeer, who magically pull
his sleigh through the sky.
They are named Dasher,
Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet,
Cupid, Donder and Blitzen."

This simple facts about Christmas, if left in oblivion, may teach us to forget the essence of christmas.

Twenty three days from now, Christians will mark the birthday of Jesus Christ, on what is popularly known as Christmas day. What is the significance of Christmas? Shopping? Party? What do you remember during this season?
From the scripture of Matthew 1 verse 21, "and she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus; for he shall save his people from the sins." The passge tells us that Jesus Christ came to save mankind from their sins.
Christmas should therefore be a time for us to look back and examine ourselves, repentance. It is also a time for sober reflection.
