Five months on, still no justice

"Thank you, Acting Justice Secretary Alberto Agra, for assuring the Filipino nation that justice can never be achieved,"said the National Union of Journalist in the Philippines. On March march 17, 2010, Agra told the prosecutors to drop the murder charges against two prominent members of a powerful Muslim clan over the massacre of 57 people on November 23 last year in Maguindanao. Agra stressed "Zaldy and Akmad Ampatuan, initially alleged to be two of the key planners of the election-linked killings in the restive south, will be dropped from the list of those accused." The decision provoked outrage among the relatives' victims.
Five months after, still no justice. In an interview, the widow of victims expressed dismay to what they call a clear manifestation of white wash. Alliance Against Impunity movement in Davao believe that Malacanang has a hand over the matter. This afternoon, members of BAYAN and Alliance Against Impunity movement staged a protest rally in front of the Ampatuan mansion to show the government the need to resolve the case as soon as possible.

USANA Experience

My friend, EJ, was so persistent. He's been asking a few minutes of my time for a lecture about health. I was hesitant before, because as i perceive it, most of seminars regarding health leads to selling and networking. One afternoon, he brought his partners at the station and cornered me for a short lecture. Without a choice, i spared a few minutes. I was not so interested even during the lecture. But because EJ is a good friend, i was forced to buy the products. What he introduced me was Essentials and Proflavanol of USANA.
I started consuming it a day after. I thought it was just the same old multivitamins in the market. Buti noticed i was getting energetic everyday, good night sleep, good bowel movement, and my skin slowly clears and lightens.
i went to their site and this is what i found:
"The Essentials™ —vitamin & mineral supplement for adults are a combination of two products: Mega Antioxidant™ and Chelated Mineral™. Together, they provide a broad spectrum of vitamins, minerals, and other plant nutrients that form the foundation of USANA’s nutritional system. They have the advantage of USANA’s patented Olivol™ olive fruit extract that provides the nutritional benefits of the Mediterranean diet."

A diffirent kind of reunion for ampatuans

Manila - It looks like a family reunion for the member of Ampatuan family. Early morning on April 16, lawyers of Governor Andal Ampatuan Sr. tried to stop the CIDG Manila and Marines from bringing the governor to Manila. They even wrote a letter to Lt.Gen. Raymundo Ferer of the Eastern Mindanao Command requestingt the continued detention of Andal Sr. at Camp Panacan Hospital while waiting for the resulotion on the motion for reconsideration filed by the government regardingt he dismissal of the rebellion case.
But the efforts were unsuccessful. At six in the evening, CIDG and marines brought Andal Sr. to the Tactical Operations Group Headquarters in Davao City, where a c130 plane was waiting.
When Andal Sr. boarded the plane, he was reunited with five other members of the Ampatuan clan implicated in the November 23 Maguindanao massacre; Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) Governor Zaldy Ampatuan, Maguindanao Governor Sajid Ampatuan, Vice Governor Akmad Ampatuan Sr., and Shariff Aguak Mayor Anwar Ampatuan.
Earlier, supporters were empotional as they bid goodbye to five other Ampatuans detained at General Santos CIDG detention. At 10:30 in the evenin, c130 touched down at the Villamor Air Base.
They were immediately brought to Camp Bagong Diwa in Bicutan, Taguig and detained along with the prime suspect in the massacre, Andal Ampatuan Jr. (fem)
