Come and join the celebration of the Pagsabadan Festival 2008, an annual event celebrated by the Municipality of Don Marcelino, Davao del Sur, enhanced with some exciting activities and shows that will leave our visitors incomparable experience.
Pagsabadan, a native word which means "to unite" is a celebration of different cultures and traditions in the area hoping to portray the peace loving people of the town. This year's celebration is guided with the theme "aim big, fly high Don Marcelino." Various activities are carefully set for the weeklong event.
To showcase the town's produce, the coconut, Pagsabadan Festival highlights the various forms of products derived from the coconut like "buko pinaka" or the biggest buko contest. For salad lovers, this event is a treat for you as thousand of coconuts will be prepared in the Buko Salad Grand fiesta. And of course, mardigras is always an added attraction to the celebration.
Other events include broadway bikini open, float parade. grand motorcross challenge, bonga arangkada motor show, hiyas ng yamang dagat, cheer dance competition and many more.
