Waves ravaged Malita

Big waves due to bad weather destroyed at least seven houses in baranggay poblacion, Malita, Davao del Sur Wednesday night. Three coastal baranggays are presently under close monitoring due to continous rains.
More than thirty meters of concrete road at Musa compound is presently unpassable after waves destroyed the foundation.
Two fishermen were also saved after two days of being stranded at sea.
The protection dike at the back of municipal gym was also destroyed.
Its might not be a good start for 2009 for malitenos, as bad as the last quater in 2008. Flashflood hit the poblacion area due to bad weather too.
