18th KBP Golden Dove Awards
We are pleased to inform you that the 18th KBP Golden Dove Awards is now accepting entries. The award recognizes individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the broadcast industry and outstanding achievements in the different fields of broadcasting. This is to promote higher standards of excellence and professionalism in the broadcast media and to encourage more socially relevant TV and Radio programming.
We are distributing entry or nomination forms for reference on award categories.
Please take note of the following requirements:
1. Entry must have aired between July 1, 2008 and June 30, 2009 .
2. Personality and Program entries must have five (5) copies of episode sample in audio CD for Radio and in DVD for TV.
3. Five (5) copies of accomplished entry or nomination form.
4. Entry has not been cited for violation of the KBP Radio and TV Code from July 1, 2008 to June 30, 2009.
5. Entries for TV Best Programs must be at least 30 minutes long, except for Best TV Variety Program, which should be at least 60 minutes long.
6. Entries for Radio Best Programs must be at least 30 minutes long, except for Best Newscast, which should be at least 15 minutes long.
7. Entry for Best Station (TV, AM and FM) must have a 30 minute video (for TV) or audio (for Radio) presentation justifying why the station should be awarded plus a written profile and program schedule of the station with a description of each program.
8. An entry submitted in one category may not be submitted in another category. The Board of Judges may re-classify an entry which it deems more appropriate.
9. All programs and materials must be produced by Filipinos using Filipino talents. Only Filipinos will be considered for the individual and personality award categories.
10. Entries originally in the local dialect should be accompanied by translation in English or Filipino.
11. Registration fee per entry for TV – P500.00 and for Radio – P200.00.
Should you wish to include your entries in our delivery, please submit requirements on or before July 20, 2009 (Monday) to Jamie Jose (local 5094) of TV Production Operations.
If we do not receive your entries by July 20, 2009, we will assume that you will make arrangements with regards submission on your own. Entries must be sent to the following address:
